Jeremy Mouton has joined Porter Hedges as a partner in the Energy Section. His practice focuses on advising oil and gas companies on a variety of corporate, transactional and commercial matters, with an emphasis on upstream joint ventures, acquisitions and divestitures. He also represents consumer product, distribution chain, and technology companies in connection with joint ventures, acquisitions, divestitures, commercial contracts, project development, and other corporate and commercial matters.
Mr. Mouton’s oil and gas experience includes negotiating and drafting purchase and sale agreements, swap agreements, development agreements, joint operating agreements, limited liability company agreements, transition services agreements, seismic licenses, mineral leases, royalty agreements, net profit interest agreements, marketing agreements, and other agreements and instruments customary in connection with oil and gas joint ventures, acquisitions and divestitures.

Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Mouton was an attorney at the Commercial Law Group in Oklahoma City. Prior to that, he was Associate General Counsel for Anheuser-Busch InBev in St. Louis and an associate attorney with Bracewell & Giuliani in Houston.
