The Houston office of a law firm with worldwide offices brought on a new partner.

The Houston office of a law firm with worldwide offices brought on a new partner, according to a press release.

Adrian Patrick Patterson joins the public law practice of Andrews Kurth and will represent clients in public finance, serve as a bond counsel, counsel for underwriters and disclosure counsel, which will be for both general obligations and revenue bonds.  Patterson’s clients include state agencies, cities, counties, school districts, hospitals, and other public services. He expects his new Houston legal position will serve such clients well.

“When it comes to public finance, Andrews Kurth’s reputation in Houston, across Texas and throughout the country is practically unmatched,” Patterson said. “I look forward to the great work we will be doing for our clients.”

Managing partner Bob Jewell said the product of the legal recruiting will fortify the law firm’s public law division. He noted Patterson’s stature in the public finance sphere.

Patterson draws from experience that includes work with Houston agencies and advisory committees, and he served on the transition team of the city’s public works department for an incoming mayor.  He was cited by the Texas Rising Stars as one of the state’s leading upcoming attorneys.
