Baker Botts L.L.P., a leading international energy, technology and life sciences law firm, announced today that Clay Brett has joined its Corporate Department as a partner in the Houston office.
Brett, who was previously a partner at Houston-based energy investment firm Millennial Energy Partners, has extensive experience leading investment origination, valuation, structuring and negotiation efforts and associated legal advisory work. Prior to joining Millennial, he represented sponsors, portfolio companies, public companies and financial institutions in energy transactions as a corporate lawyer at Willkie Farr and Bracewell.
Brett’s practice will focus on energy private funds, joint ventures, financings and M&A transactions, representing sponsors, corporations and financial institutions.

Brett obtained his J.D. from Vanderbilt Law School and his B.A. from the University of Florida.
