Yasser Madriz, an accomplished trial lawyer with significant experience representing corporate clients in complex litigation, has joined McGuireWoods as a partner in Houston.
Madriz represents clients in matters such as technology and intellectual property disputes, trade secret theft, unfair competition claims and energy litigation. He leverages his skill as a former deal lawyer to advise international companies in transaction-based controversies, business organization disputes and derivative suits. Madriz, a native Spanish speaker, also has extensive experience representing Latin American clients in domestic and international litigation.
Madriz comes to McGuireWoods from Haynes and Boone, where he practiced for 16 years. He is a graduate of the University of Houston Law Center.
