Global law firm White & Case LLP has added Taylor Pullins as a partner in its Environment & Climate Change practice and Global Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) Practice in Houston. He will also work with the Firm’s Energy and Power Industry Groups. Prior to joining White & Case, Pullins served as managing counsel at Noble Energy.
“Taylor is an experienced lawyer and an excellent addition to our Environmental and M&A Practices in Houston,” said John Reiss, Head of White & Case’s Global M&A Practice. “He is highly skilled, particularly in the environmental sector, where we are seeing increasing demand in the energy transaction space.”
Pullins’ practice focuses on environmental law, particularly in the energy industry, including M&A, project finance, environmental permitting and environmental enforcement advisory work. He also has experience interacting with federal and state regulators on behalf of oil and gas clients.
While at Noble Energy, he led environmental, health, safety and regulatory matters across the company’s portfolio of domestic and international energy assets, including Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) matters.
“Growing our energy and environmental industry expertise is a main focus for our Houston office,” said Jay Cuclis, White & Case’s Houston Office Executive Partner and Co-Head of the Firm’s Energy Industry Group. “Taylor is an important addition to further broadening and strengthening our capabilities in this sector.”
It has been almost three years since White & Case opened its Houston office in February 2018, which has grown to more than 45 lawyers.
Bloomberg ranked White & Case #1 in value for cross-border M&A for the first nine months of 2020.
