Winston & Strawn LLP continues to strengthen its litigation and energy practice capabilities with the addition of trial lawyer James “Jim” Nye. Jim will serve as a partner in Winston’s Houston office and focus on complex commercial litigation with a concentration in the energy industry.
“We are thrilled to have a well-known trial lawyer like Jim that has handled litigation in multiple states throughout the U.S. join the firm,” said Winston Chairman Tom Fitzgerald. “His experience in high exposure emergency management and investigations bolsters our litigation department capabilities for clients, especially within the energy sector.”
“Jim’s experience in high exposure oil and gas personal injury cases, particularly in the Houston energy sector, will be beneficial for our clients,” added Doug Atnipp, the firm’s Houston managing partner. “Bringing him on board expands our robust litigation offerings across the firm.”
