Faegre Baker Daniels Expands Appellate Practice with Addition of Brian J. Paul

Brian J. Paul—an experienced and accomplished appellate lawyer—has joined Faegre Baker Daniels’ litigation team in Indianapolis.

A graduate of Vanderbilt Law School, Paul has worked on dozens of state and federal appeals. His cases have run the gamut. He has briefed and argued everything from weighty abstract constitutional issues to concrete dollars-and-cents commercial issues and any number of issues in-between. The clients he has served have run the gamut too. FaegreBD Represents Couche-Tard in $1.7 Billion Acquisition of The Pantry

Faegre Baker Daniels is representing Alimentation Couche-Tard Inc. (Couche-Tard) in the acquisition of The Pantry in an all-cash transaction valued at approximately $1.7 billion including debt assumed. The companies signed a definitive merger agreement on Dec. 18, 2014, and the deal is expected to close in the first half of 2015, subject to the approval of The Pantry shareholders and customary regulatory approvals.
