A leading U.S. law firm is seeking a mid to senior level attorney with experience in project finance, M&A, and/or the development of energy and infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will have a background in transactional work involving renewable and conventional power and energy projects. Relevant expertise includes credit and security documentation, purchase and sale agreements, merger agreements, and critical project contracts such as power purchase agreements.
Candidates should have substantial experience managing closings for financings, acquisitions, or dispositions related to power, energy, and infrastructure, including drafting and negotiating ancillary documents. Individuals with a focus on project contracts should demonstrate significant experience with power purchase agreements and related supply and offtake arrangements. Experience in emerging sectors, including hydrogen, carbon capture, battery storage, renewable natural gas, and data centers, is a plus.
This Firm is looking to fill this role in multiple offices across the country: Austin, Chicago, Dallas, Denver, Houston, Los Angeles, Miami, New York, San Francisco, Silicon Valley, or Washington, D.C. The anticipated full-time annualized salary range is $390,000+.
