Kinney Recruiting is working with a Vault 50 law firm to find aa Restructuring Associate for its New York or Chicago office to represent debtors, official creditors committees, lenders, asset purchasers, and other constituents in connection with in-court and out-of-court restructurings and litigation, including cross-border matters. Ideal Candidate should have 2-4 years of experience with in-court and out-of-court restructurings, including chapter 11 proceedings, and must be admitted to practice in the relevant jurisdiction. Responsibilities include presenting and arguing contested matters in court, participating in client communications, drafting pleadings and plans of reorganization, assisting in distressed asset transactions, managing liquidations, conducting claims reconciliation, and participating in negotiations. Base pay range for associates varies by compensation year, starting at $225,000 for 2024/2023 class associates, up to $435,000 for 2016 and more senior class associates.
