Our client is the Houston office of an elite Am Law 50 firm with an immediate need for a midlevel–senior level litigation associate (JD years 2017-2022) to join the firm's decorated Complex Litigation Practice Group. This firm is widely recognized as a go-to firm for complex, high-stakes litigation involving US-based and international clients. We know the partners in this firm's Houston office well (they launched the office years ago after being recruited from some of the top firms in the market) and it is a litigation-focused office that works across the US and many international jurisdictions. The partners in Houston regularly try headline-making cases, travel frequently, and represent a broad array of clients in the energy, transportation, hospitality and healthcare industries, among others. Qualified candidates must have at least two years years of top litigation law firm experience, excellent academic credentials, and developed communication skills (research, writing, oral presentation). A clerkship is preferred but not mandatory. Additionally, applicants must be licensed to practice law in Texas or eligible to waive in.
