Energy Infrastructure Associate
A global law firm seeks an energy transactional associate with a minimum of 3 years' experience for its Energy & Infrastructure practice in Washington, D.C., Houston, or New York. The role involves representing clients in the energy sector, including financial institutions, project developers, and commodity trading companies, on physical and financial transactions and energy transition initiatives. Ideal candidates have experience in project finance, energy asset securitization, and structuring transactions, including hedging, offtake agreements, and trading for conventional and renewable energy. Familiarity with standard energy industry agreements (e.g., ISDA, EEI, NAESB) and credit/security documentation is required. Strong project management skills and client interaction are key, and candidates should be admitted to practice in D.C., New York, or Texas.
