Top law firm is seeking a talented associate with 3-5 years of management-side employment litigation and counseling experience to join their Austin office. This position offers the chance to work with cutting-edge clients, from early-stage startups to Fortune 500 companies, in industries such as technology, life sciences, green energy, and cleantech.
As an associate in this group, you will provide clients with mission-critical advice on all aspects of employment law, including hiring, leaves of absence, internal investigations, terminations, trade secret protection, restrictive covenants, and employee mobility issues. Responsibilities will also include drafting and reviewing key employment documents such as policies, executive agreements, and separation agreements. You will advocate for clients in employment-related disputes before state and federal courts, administrative agencies, and arbitral panels, and assist on multi-jurisdictional disputes. Additionally, you’ll gain valuable cross-disciplinary experience by advising on employment-related matters in mergers and acquisitions, public offerings, and other corporate transactions.
