The founding partner was a partner at a prominent Houston international law firm before leaving to start his own shop. He is regarded statewide as a trial lawyer and is well-connected. Their practice includes railroad and maritime, wrongful termination, and whistleblower work. However, they are not limiting themselves to looking for people with experience in those areas. They just want two 2 to 7th year associates, who can come in and hit the ground running and want to do great litigation work. The compensation consists of a competitive base, but the real kicker is a big upside on bonuses. This is also a firm where you will receive great hands-on training from accomplished trial lawyers.
