Regulatory & Insurance Senior Counsel
Kinney Recruiting is assisting a global reinsurance company on a search for a Senior Counsel with experience handling reinsurance regulatory and transactional matters. The ideal candidate should have at least five (5) years of law firm or in-house (or both) experience advising reinsurers on corporate transactions. Familiarity with the Model Holding Company Act is strongly preferred. The candidate must be a US-licensed attorney in good standing. The General Counsel of this organization is a personal friend of one of Kinney's recruiters. We will ensure your application materials will be reviewed by the proper hiring managers with decision making authority.
The company has adopted a hybrid work model whereby employees must work in the office in New York City (Midtown Manhattan) two (2) or three (3) days per week. However, the company will entertain a 100% remote candidate who otherwise satisfies the job requirements, provided that he or she live on the East Coast of the US. To comply with NYS pay transparency requirements, a good faith estimate of the base compensation range is $200k to $290k.
