Kinney Recruiting was approached by the Managing Partner of a Commercial Litigation boutique firm in New York, NY, to assist in a search for a Senior Litigation Associate with five (5) to eight (8) years of complex commercial litigation experience. This client was founded by ex-big law partners who wanted to take their destiny into their own hands and not be beholden to the demands of big law politics. The founding partner has an excellent reputation (we asked around). Note that our client does not focus on white-collar or government investigations, so this is for someone who enjoys complex commercial litigation practice.

We are interested in speaking with experienced commercial litigation associates with a biglaw background who are tired of the daily grind. As this is a hands-on litigation firm, our clients are looking for candidates with high academic achievement at a nationally-ranked law school and admission to the New York bar. A district or appellate-level federal clerkship is a plus, but not required. The estimated base salary range for this position is $300,000 to $350,000.
