WDC Antitrust Associate (1st-8th Year)
Our client is a top international law firm who is seeking a 1st-8th Year Associate for its rapidly growing, nationally-recognized Antitrust and Competition practice group. Candidates must have experience in (1) antitrust and competition law, government and internal investigations, and government enforcement actions or (2) civil antitrust litigation, including handling discovery, drafting pretrial motions, and managing complex cases. They should also have experience representing clients in state and federal court as well as enforcement authorities such as the U.S. Department of Justice and the Federal Trade Commission. Prior federal clerkship experience and/or a background in economics or related subjects preferred. While candidates in other cities will be considered, the team is largely based in D.C. and the candidate must be admitted (or eligible to be admitted) to the D.C. Bar. The ideal candidate is confident, hardworking and personable with keen attention to detail. Winning candidates should have large law firm or prestgious boutique experience, a strong academic record from a nationally respected law school, and an equally impressive undergraduate degree.
