Law firm Eversheds has strengthened its IP team with the appointment of Deon de Beer as a partner in its Johannesburg office.
Deon brings with him an established IP practice which he built when he started his account in 1998 under Bowman Gilfillan attorneys, which he continued in 2006 under Dessington de Beer attorneys.
A highly regarded patent attorney, Deon represents clients in a variety of technical fields including metallurgical, material science, mechanical, electrical, software, mining, pharmaceutical, chemical, agrochemical and agricultural inventions.
