Lewis Brisbois has boosted its Complex Business & Commercial Litigation Practice by bringing on seasoned litigators Leonard B. Rose and Greer S. Lang as partners in its Kansas City, Missouri office. Mr. Rose and Ms. Lang both join from Kansas City-based law firm Lathrop Gage.

Mr. Rose and Ms. Land bring a combined eight decades of experience in commercial law to the firm’s Business Practices Group, a large team within Lewis Brisbois composed of attorneys from the firm’s many commercially-aligned practice groups, such as antitrust & competition, bankruptcy & insolvency, franchise & distribution, intellectual property, and many other business-focused areas.

Mr. Rose has over five decades of experience and enjoys a well-earned reputation as an exceptional litigator, having been selected by his peers as “Dean of the Trial Bar” and “Best of the Bar.” He has acted as lead counsel in at least two trials every year of career, appearing in courthouses across the country on behalf of national corporate clients. Mr. Rose focuses his practice on commercial litigation, banking and finance, and personal injury matters. He has also served on the board of directors for several mid-size corporations in a business advisory position. A graduate of Washington University School of Law, Mr. Rose is admitted to practice in Kansas and Missouri, and several federal courts.
Ms. Lang represents clients in both litigated and non-litigated complex commercial and business-related disputes, in both state and federal courts, at the trial and appellate court level. She has almost three decades of experience handling contract matters, partnership disputes, regulatory issues, trusts, business torts, professional liability matters, and much more. Ms. Lang has been featured as a Missouri/Kansas Super Lawyer and was named by the National Law Journal as one of the “Top 50 Litigation Trailblazers” of 2015. She received her undergraduate degree magna cum laude, and her law degree cum laude, from Washburn University. Ms. Lang is a frequent speaker and author on issues regarding the Equal Credit Opportunity Act (ECOA) and Regulation B, and Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) Website litigation.
