Polsinelli welcomes Frank Koranda to its Kansas City office as shareholder where he will join the national Corporate and Transactional practice. His practice focuses on corporate and financial transactional matters, specifically with middle market, private company mergers and acquisitions. “Frank brings a wide range of capabilities to our team, specifically focusing on mergers and acquisitions and financial matters, as well as unique experience working with clients in a variety of industries,” said Corporate and Transactional Practice Chair Jon Henderson. “We are excited to have him on board, and look forward to utilizing his expertise in many ways with clients who are seeking to expand, exit, restructure and more.”
Koranda joins Polsinelli at an exciting time. The firm recently moved up seven spots to the Am Law ranking #86, a rise of more than 100 spots in Am Law’s annual firm rankings during the past five years. He credited his move to Polsinelli for its emerging and impressive mergers and acquisitions focus and position in the market.
“I was attracted to Polsinelli’s focus as the country’s national middle market firm,” Koranda said. “The clients I serve and deals we do are middle market oriented, so Polsinelli was a natural fit. I look forward to collaborating with the Corporate and Transactional team.”
Koranda assists clients in regard to corporate and financial transaction matters, with a focus on private mergers and acquisitions. He represents private equity, family office backed and strategic buyers and sellers of businesses and produce lines. His experience includes working with clients in a variety of industries, including telecommunications, highly engineered manufacturing, clinical research organizations, healthcare products and services, data centers and environmental testing.
Koranda earned his J.D., with honors, from the University of Missouri School of Law, where he was Note and Comment Editor of the Journal of Dispute Resolution. He was recognized with the M&A Advisor’s 40 Under 40 Award, and has been named a Super Lawyers Rising Star and Kansas City Business Journal’s Best of the Bar for Mergers and Acquisitions.
