Lewis Brisbois is pleased to welcome Brandon Rhodes to its Lafayette, Louisiana office as a partner in the firm’s General Liability, Healthcare, Medical Malpractice, and Behavioral Health Practices. Rhodes joins the firm from Becker & Hebert, LLC.
Mr. Rhodes brings to Lewis Brisbois more than two decades of experience defending clients in matters involving healthcare, products liability, premises liability, recreation, entertainment, and complex litigation. An experienced first-chair litigator, he has tried more than three dozen cases, including bench and jury trials in state court, federal court, and various administrative venues. In addition, Mr. Rhodes has handled numerous appeals, consistently achieving favorable results for the clients he represents. A native of New Orleans, he has worked in private practice in both Georgia and Louisiana.

Prior to joining private practice, Mr. Rhodes worked as a law clerk in the Fourth Judicial Circuit of Florida and later as an assistant state attorney in Jacksonville. He earned his law degree, cum laude, from Tulane University School of Law and his undergraduate degree from the University of Louisiana, Lafayette. He is admitted to practice in state and federal courts in Florida, Georgia, and Louisiana, including in the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals and the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals.
