National law firm Wilson Elser announced today that Michael Lowry has joined the firm’s Las Vegas office as a partner.
In addition to his membership in the firm’s Transportation and Complex Tort & General Casualty practices, Lowry will serve on Wilson Elser’s 24/7 Emergency Response Team. He represents companies from a cross-section of industries, including retail, restaurant and hospitality, commercial transportation, manufacturing and others, in cases that involve general and premises liability matters, employment and contractual disputes, and regulatory and other matters.
Committed to sharing his knowledge with clients, Lowry is an avid writer and presenter on industry developments and best practices for favorable resolution of client matters. He authors “Compelling Discovery,” a blog that discusses appropriate civil discovery in an effort to contain rapidly rising discovery costs. In 2013 and 2014, the ABA Journal selected Lowry’s blog as one of the top 100 legal blogs in the country.
Lowry is an active member of RIMS, The Claim and Litigation Management Alliance, DRI: The Voice of the Defense Bar, the Clark County Bar Association and other industry organizations.
Recognized by his peers for his acumen and professionalism, Lowry has been selected for inclusion in Mountain States Super Lawyers and honored with a Martindale-Hubbell AV® Preeminent™ Peer Rating.
Lowry earned his B.A. degree from Drake University (2003) and his J.D. degree from Drake University School of Law (2007).
