Mr. Roberts represents clients in a wide variety of intellectual property matters, including patent litigation, strategic patent counseling and portfolio development, licensing, and both foreign and domestic patent prosecution. Mr. Roberts represents emerging companies, large corporations, and universities in a wide range of technologies, focusing on strategic patent portfolio development and management. Mr. Roberts earned his B.S. in mechanical engineering from the Virginia Tech and his J.D. from the University of San Diego School of Law.

Michael R. Bromwich Joins Goodwin Procter

Davis Polk – Hologic, Inc. $3.8 Billion Leveraged Acquisition Financing

Davis Polk is advising Goldman Sachs Bank USA as lead arranger, bookrunner and syndication agent for $3.8 billion of financing in connection with Hologic’s acquisition of Gen-Probe Incorporated. The financing consists of $3 billion senior secured term loan facilities, a $300 million revolving facility and a $500 million senior unsecured bridge facility.

Former DOJ Associate Deputy Attorney General Robert N. Weiner Returns to Arnold & Porter LLP
