He also brings a background as a software engineer at Oracle Corporation and an engineering cryptanalyst with the National Security Agency, as well as experience as a judicial clerk for the United States Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit. Lewis joins the firm from DLA Piper, where he represented clients in patent and copyright matters in the telecommunications, microprocessors, software, televisions, power tools, electronics, e-commerce, distributed computing, communications and transportation technologies sectors.
