King & Spalding today announced that Ingrid Myers has joined as a partner in the firm’s Corporate, Finance and Investments (CFI) practice group in its Houston office. Myers’s practice focuses on the drafting and negotiation of construction-related contracts for the development of energy and other major infrastructure projects. Myers joins the firm from Morgan Lewis.
The global law firm Bryan Cave Leighton Paisner has announced the addition of a three-partner group of highly regarded transactional and regulatory insurance lawyers. The group includes the global co-leader of Dentons’ Insurance Sector practice, Bruce Baty, and his longtime colleague, Jodi Adolf, as well as Kelly Sullivan, a leading insurance transactional and regulatory partner from Polsinelli. They will be resident in the firm’s Kansas City office. Baty also will become a co-leader of BCLP’s Insurance Sector practice. Additionally, the group includes Fred Heese, who formerly served as chief financial examiner and director of the Division of Insurance Company Regulation for the Missouri Department of Commerce and Insurance.
