Ogletree Deakins Opens Milwaukee Office

Ogletree, Deakins, Nash, Smoak & Stewart, P.C. (Ogletree Deakins), one of the largest labor and employment law firms representing management, begins the year by opening an office in Milwaukee with a group of nine experienced and highly regarded attorneys. Tim Costello will serve as the managing shareholder of the Milwaukee office and is joined by four other shareholders, one of counsel, one special counsel, and two associates. In addition to Costello, the shareholders joining Ogletree Deakins’ Milwaukee office are Robert Bartel, Timothy Kamin, Kevin Kinney, and Brian Radloff. David Loeffler joins as special counsel, Keith Kopplin joins as of counsel, and Mark Johnson and Dean Kelley join as associates. By opening in Milwaukee, Ogletree Deakins now has 47 offices and extends a growth trajectory that includes 13 new offices since 2010 and international expansion into Europe and Mexico.

Davis Polk advised Mongolian Mining Corporation on its $201 million global rights offering. The global rights offering consisted of a public offering of H shares (shares listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange) in Hong Kong and private placements of H shares to institutional investors outside of Hong Kong, including within the United States to a limited number of qualified institutional investors in reliance on Section 4(a)(2) of the U.S. Securities Act.
