Katten Muchin Rosenman UK LLP announced today that Alan D. Meneghetti has joined the firm’s Corporate practice as a partner in its London office. Mr Meneghetti undertakes a full range of commercial and regulatory work in the general commercial, aviation and aerospace sectors with an emphasis on technology, intellectual property and privacy. Mr. Meneghetti joins from Locke Lord Edwards.

Mr Meneghetti’s practice ranges from handling regulatory issues to the procurement of suppliers and responses to tenders, to data protection and privacy, information technology, intellectual property, and the drafting and negotiating of various commercial agreements, such as outsourcing, supply, service, and research and development. He has worked extensively on matters in Africa, Europe and the United Kingdom.

Formerly in Locke Lord’s London office, Mr Meneghetti is a regular speaker at industry events and a frequent author and contributor to various legal and industry publications on topics ranging from data protection, aviation and international consumer law to unfair trade practices. He is a member of the International Advisory Committee to the Alumni Foundation, International Institute of Air and Space Law at Leiden Law School, and co-Vice-Chair of the Worldwide Airport Lawyers Association, and on the Advisory Board of the India Law Journal. He also is admitted as a solicitor in England and Wales, and as an attorney of the High Court of the Republic of South Africa.
