Global law firm Ashurst has appointed Katie Williams as partner in the International Projects Group, based in London. Katie joins from Linklaters with over 11 years’ experience in project development, financing and M&A mandates across international and domestic energy and infrastructure markets.
Most recently Katie has worked on many high-profile offshore and onshore wind transactions across Europe and Asia Pacific, as well as on large scale project financings and alternative finance structures for international corporates and funds in the petrochemical and oil and gas sectors.
“We are excited to welcome Katie to the London IPG team”, said Joss Dare, Global Co-Head of the International Projects Group. Joss added that Katie’s expertise will make a valuable contribution to the firm’s international projects practice. “Katie is a fantastic addition to our team.
