Baker Botts L.L.P., a leading international technology, energy and life sciences law firm, announced today that Tomas Gärdfors has joined its London office as a partner in the Corporate Department. Gärdfors joins Baker Botts from Norton Rose Fulbright in London.
Mr. Gärdfors is a debt finance specialist who focuses on energy, infrastructure, energy transition, and digital infrastructure. His practice includes European cross-border energy infrastructure transactions, including M&A and debt financings. He has deep experience in the renewables and energy transition space, where he advises clients in various jurisdictions across the UK, mainland Europe, the Nordics, Africa and Latin America.

Mr. Gärdfors has advised on renewable and energy transition financings in in the UK, the Nordics, Europe and Latin America. He has extensive knowledge of, and experience in, the Nordic region, in particular in Sweden, a market that is currently drawing increasing investment interest. His practice increasingly includes power-to-X, heat-to-X, synthetic fuels and battery storage.
