Leading international law firm Clifford Chance today announced that Thomas Fisher is rejoining the firm in London as a partner. Thomas has extensive infrastructure experience advising on acquisitions, divestments and reorganisations for financial investor clients. This includes a strong track record acting for top tier sponsors and infrastructure funds on both domestic and cross-border European transactions. Thomas joins from Weil, Gotshal & Manges LLP where he is currently counsel, and prior to that he was with Clifford Chance for three years from 2015 to 2018.

While at Weil, Thomas has worked for clients including Antin, Macquarie and Wren House.
In 2022, the London team also welcomed back private equity partner Neil Evans, and promoted Oliver Marcuse and Jonathan Dillon, further bolstering its overall Financial Investor offering. The firm’s Financial Investor client base is diverse and includes private equity houses, multi strategy asset managers, infrastructure funds, real estate funds, sovereign wealth investors and pension funds.
