International law firm DAC Beachcroft is pleased to announce the appointment of Alex Stovold as Aviation partner in its Global Insurance practice in London. Alex will start with DACB in July, having been a partner at Clyde & Co.
Alex specialises in aviation work for insurers and reinsurers, with a focus on general aviation, as well as subrogation recoveries, product liability and coverage advice. Much of his work is multi-jurisdictional, and he has particular experience of Latin America and southern Africa, dealing with losses in Mexico, Guatemala, Panama, Chile, Colombia, Bolivia, South Africa, Kenya, Ghana and Tanzania.

DAC Beachcroft is committed to meeting the needs of its insurance clients internationally. In January 2020 it announced a combination with Spanish law firm Asjusa, adding three partners and a 20-strong team of healthcare-focused professional liability and insurance lawyers to its Madrid office. In 2019 the firm also launched an office in Paris focused on both the global and domestic insurance and industrial risks sector.
