Dentons has expanded its UK People, Reward and Mobility (PRM) team with the hire of partner and employment law specialist Purvis Ghani in London. Purvis joins from Stephenson Harwood where he has been a partner since 2015.
Purvis advises on all areas of employment law with particular expertise in international and cross border matters, discrimination and other tribunal litigation, outsourcing and TUPE. He works on both contentious and non-contentious matters across a range of industries with extensive experience in the financial services, information and technology sectors.

Purvis’ hire follows two partner additions to Dentons’ PRM team in 2019: the promotion to partner of employment law specialist Alison Weatherhead in Glasgow, as well as the recruitment of pensions partner Eleanor Hart from Slaughter and May in London. Jessica Pattinson also joined Dentons in 2017 as its UK Head of Immigration (based in London) from Deloitte.
The team has expanded significantly over recent years. With Purvis’s hire, the team will grow to nine partners and 37 other fee earners across the UK with further hires expected before the end of the year.
