Brendan joins the business from Dentons, and he specialises in advising lenders, borrowers and private equity sponsors. His practice covers local, UK and international real estate finance (including real estate investment and development senior and mezzanine finance deals), as well as asset-backed and energy & infrastructure transactions including the financing of data centres, capacity market and smart meter assets.
Brendan has advised Lloyds Bank PLC on numerous recent senior and mezzanine real estate finance transactions, totalling over £750m of debt and most recently advised NatWest Bank PLC on its re-financing of the UK’s largest single battery storage facility.
At DWF, Brendan will lead the London real estate finance team within the banking and finance group and will be a member of the energy & infrastructure sector group within DWF.
