Eversheds Boosts Company Commercial Practice

Eversheds bolsters its company commercial team with Ian Moore, who joins the firm’s Nottingham office as a corporate partner on 3rd January 2017.

Ian has developed a diverse knowledge base through managing a business and advising on commercial issues in his 13 years’ PQE in private practice. Ian was most recently Managing Director at Dhu, an award-winning investor funded Scottish sportswear brand. Prior to his industry role he was a London-based corporate finance partner at Norton Rose Fulbright LLP between 2007-2012.

Ian’s practice at Norton Rose focused on a whole-life cycle approach to corporate finance, private equity and commercial contracts. Ian has acted on multiple domestic and cross border corporate transactions, private M&A, private equity and related funds, joint ventures and commercial agreements.

Keri Rees, Eversheds corporate partner says:

“Ian brings a wealth of experience in key sector areas with him. His specialisms will integrate well with, and complement, a number of the industry sector specialisms within the Eversheds practice including consumer and TMT. We look forward to welcoming him.”

Jon Cox-Brown, Eversheds corporate partner adds:

“Ian will be a great asset to the Nottingham team and his particular focus on private equity and growth companies will help build on the excellent work already being done.”

Ian Moore comments:

“Setting up and managing my own business has helped me develop a genuine sector expertise in consumer brands, retail and new media/e-commerce. I’m looking forward to re-joining private practice and integrating my hands-on business experience with the team’s expertise to expand Eversheds at this exciting time for the firm.”
