Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher LLP is pleased to announce that Michelle Kirschner will join the firm’s London office as a partner. Kirschner, formerly a partner with Macfarlanes, will continue to focus on financial services regulation at Gibson Dunn. She previously spent nearly 10 years at Linklaters LLP.

About Michelle Kirschner
Focused on non-contentious financial services regulation, Kirschner has substantial experience advising on corporate governance structures, conduct risk, and regulatory change management and compliance (including MiFID II, MAR and Senior Managers and Certification Regime). She has also conducted internal investigations, including reviews of systems and controls in the context of EU and UK regulations. Her clients have included asset managers, investment banks, corporate finance houses, hedge fund managers, private equity sponsors and private wealth managers.
After the United Kingdom’s decision to leave the European Union, Kirschner has also assisted clients from a number of sectors in navigating their anticipated challenges and options following Brexit.
Kirschner joins the firm from the London office of Macfarlanes LLP, where she has practiced since 2012, most recently heading up the non-contentious financial services regulatory practice.
Kirschner earned her LLB with honors from the University of Birmingham in 2000.
