Gide Boosts its Expertise in Energy & Natural Resources With the Arrival of New Partner Colin Graham in London

Gide is strengthening its Projects practice, and Energy & Natural Resources sector expertise, with the addition of Colin Graham as energy and infrastructure partner in its London office. Colin’s practice covers corporate and commercial projects and M&A work, with particular specialisation in international Oil & Gas, LNG, Power and Resources. Colin has worked on major gas value chain project developments in recent years, including as project counsel for all aspects of the Shah Deniz phase II development, the Trans-Adriatic, Trans-Anatolian, Trans-Asia, Nabucco, South-East Europe and IGI-Poseidon gas pipelines including gas transportation, sales, operations codes and treaties. Colin Joins the firm from Watson, Farley & Williams LLP in London.

In the LNG value chain, he has been active in LNG liquefaction and LNG trading projects, including LNG price arbitrations. Colin also has expertise on demand creation projects linking LNG regasification with gas-fired power, such as the Malta LNG project and recent LNG sales into West Africa and Latin America.

Colin also works on upstream oil and gas, including the shale and conventional production regimes in emerging markets.

With 19 years’ experience in international transactions, Colin is qualified in England & Wales, Hong Kong and Ontario (non-practicing). He is fluent in French, Mandarin and Spanish.

Colin joins Gide’s 120-lawyer-strong Projects (Finance and Infrastructure) practice which is located at the firm’s headquarters in France and across its network of international offices.
