Robert Wieder has joined Faegre Baker Daniels in London as a partner in the firm’s corporate practice, where he will advise on corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions, and general corporate matters throughout Europe, the Middle East and beyond. Prior to joining Faegre Baker Daniels, Wieder practiced as a partner with Bryan Cave and Field Fisher Waterhouse. He holds a law degree from Victoria University of Manchester LL.B, with honours.
Wieder is an ally for international businesses as they grow and operate. His Austrian heritage, London location and wide geographic experience are powerful assets for corporate clients. A background in litigation and arbitration complements his transactional work.
He has experience in the natural resources, mining, oil and gas, finance, health care, retail, defence, food and beverage, tech, and communications industries. He has advised on the sale and purchase of companies and joint ventures in many of these sectors, as well as mining assets.
