Arrival of Victoria Sander adds significant experience to the firm’s M&A and financial institutions practices. Latham & Watkins is pleased to announce that Victoria Sander has joined the London office as a partner in the Corporate Department. Sander is one of the City’s leading insurance M&A practitioners, with more than 20 years’ experience advising clients on variety of complex transactions. Sander joins the firm from Linklaters’ London office.
Sander has deep insurance industry expertise and specializes in M&A, Part VII transfers, demutualisations, reinsurances, distribution arrangements, pension scheme de-risking and transactions effecting the transfer of longevity risk. She also advises on insurance regulation and regulatory capital matters for insurers, including under Solvency II.

Sander completed her LLM at Cambridge University before taking her LPC at the College of Law, qualifying as a solicitor of England & Wales in 1997.
