O’Melveny announced today that acclaimed finance and restructuring lawyer Greg Campbell has joined the firm’s London office as a partner in its Corporate Finance Practice Group, strengthening O’Melveny’s cross-border capabilities while also expanding the firm’s capacity in London and across the European market.
Campbell is a trusted advisor to public and private companies, banks, and private equity and credit funds on cross-border acquisitions and leveraged finance, real estate finance, restructuring, and distressed and special-situations transactions. He also advises on regulatory concerns, including anti-money laundering and sanctions-related matters.
Campbell brings more than 25 years of experience to O’Melveny. His practice spans an array of industries, including financial services, private equity, real estate, REITs, infrastructure, technology, aerospace, and health care. He comes to O’Melveny from the London office of Gibson Dunn, where he was a member of that firm’s Global Finance and Business Restructuring Practices.
“Greg is the right person at the right time for O’Melveny. His deep experience in London and Europe will be an immediate asset to our global clients,” said O’Melveny chair Bradley J. Butwin. “As we continue to bolster our roster of talented London-based lawyers, Greg’s dynamic practice aligns perfectly with our priority to always anticipate our clients’ needs—especially in the M&A, private equity, restructuring, and real estate sectors. We are delighted to welcome him to the firm.”
“I am thrilled to join O’Melveny’s London office and to help expand the firm’s European depth,” said Campbell. “I was drawn to O’Melveny’s world-class reputation for superior client service, as well as the firm’s commitment to promoting a collegial, collaborative culture. I look forward to serving my clients on O’Melveny’s fantastic platform and helping to support and grow the firm’s global finance and restructuring capabilities.”
