Kieran Stone has joined Locke Lord’s London office as a Partner in the Firm’s Corporate Practice Group. Stone’s extensive experience advising clients in the energy and technology sectors on equity capital markets transactions will further enhance the Firm’s capabilities as well as its growing London office. A former partner at Memery Crystal, Stone joins Locke Lord with vast experience in equity capital markets, acting for both UK and international main market and AIM-quoted companies as well as their advisers. Stone has also advised on a range of public takeover and private M&A transactions.
Hogan Lovells is further strengthening its Construction & Engineering practice with the arrival of Emerson Holmes as a partner in its Global International Arbitration practice. He joins the firm today from King & Spalding where he was Deputy Head of Construction. Emerson will be resident in Hogan Lovells’ London office.

Clarissa, who primarily specialises in cross-sector disputes for clients within the construction industry, previously worked as a partner at Trowers & Hamlins. Previous clients have included some of the UK’s largest developers, contractors, sub-contractors, consultants and local authorities.

King & Spalding has hired private funds partner Stephen Sims to the firm’s Corporate, Finance and Investments (CFI) practice group in London. Sims was previously a partner and the European Head of Investment Management at Skadden and more recently a fund formation partner at MJ Hudson.
International law firm Clifford Chance announces that Adam Hedley will be joining the firm in December 2022 as an Environmental and ESG partner based in London. Adam joins from Reed Smith’s ESG and Environmental practice where he advised on a spectrum of UK and international, environmental, ESG, product compliance, carbon and climate change law matters.
