Global law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP has added John Houghton to the firm’s London office, where he will serve as Chair of the London Restructuring & Bankruptcy Practice. Houghton is former Global Co-Chair of the Restructuring & Special Situations Practice, and former European Head of Restructuring & Special Situations, at Latham & Watkins, where he practiced for nearly 20 years.
International law firm Bird & Bird today grows its Corporate practice with the hire of Nick O’Donnell as a partner in London. Nick joins the firm from Baker McKenzie where he has been a corporate finance partner in London since 2012. He previously spent more than a decade with Allen & Overy.
Paul Hastings LLP, a leading global law firm, announced today that experienced investment funds lawyer Ted Craig has joined the firm’s London office as a partner in the Private Investment Funds practice. He joins from Dentons, where he was head of the private funds practice in the UK.
Dechert LLP continues to grow its global private equity practice group with the addition of Mark Thompson as a partner in its London office. Thompson comes to the firm from Kirkland & Ellis LLP.

Will joins Herbert Smith Freehills from Mayer Brown, where he was Head of Insurance Disputes in London and Global co-Head of Insurance. Before moving to Mayer Brown in 2000, he was an associate in legacy Herbert Smith’s Disputes team in London.
