Global law firm Reed Smith today announces the hire of Linton Bloomberg as partner in its restructuring and insolvency team and London office. Bloomber arrives at Reed Smith from the London office of Weil, Gotshal & Manges, LLP.
With over 20 years of experience, Bloomberg’s practice is focused on advising insolvency practitioners, US and European investment banks, UK clearing banks, hedge funds and private equity houses across the full range of international and domestic restructuring and insolvency matters.
In particular, he specialises in cross-border restructurings, creditor and debtor representations, out-of-court restructurings, pensions restructuring and insolvency litigation.
Last year, Bloomberg completed an eight-month secondment at the Financial Stability Division of the Bank of England and has also previously completed a secondment with the global restructuring group at RBS.
