National law firm Wilson Elser is pleased to announce its most recent lateral hire, Charles W. Jenkins, a partner in the firms Los Angeles office. Mr. Jenkins has joined the firm’s Toxic Tort, Environmental and Energy practice.
Mr. Jenkins is a seasoned litigator with extensive jury trial experience. Throughout his career, he has focused on the defense of claims relating to exposures to toxic substances, such as asbestos, benzene, mold, silica and metal particulates.
His current practice focuses on asbestos litigation throughout the state of California where has defended a wide range of companies, from heavy equipment manufacturers to product suppliers.
In addition to his toxic tort experience, Mr. Jenkins has considerable experience in general civil litigation and has handled a wide variety of cases including those involving trade secret misappropriation, civil rights claims, premises liability, wrongful termination, sexual harassment, assault and battery, and contract disputes.
He is admitted to the State Bar of California and the U.S. District Court for the Central, Eastern, Northern and Southern Districts of California. He is also a member of the Los Angeles County Bar Association.
Mr. Jenkins earned is Bachelor of Science degree from Boston University and his Juris Doctor degree from UCLA School of Law.
