Hughes Hubbard & Reed announced today that David Stern, a litigation partner with considerable first chair trial experience, has joined the firm in its Los Angeles office. He was previously a partner at Winston & Strawn in L.A.
Stern represents Fortune 500 clients in a wide range of complex commercial litigation matters including class action, antitrust, intellectual property, employment, and media and entertainment matters. In addition, he has significant experience litigating securities, real estate and unfair competition matters.

Stern received a B.A. summa cum laude from St. John’s University in 1988 and a J.D. in 1992 from the University of Minnesota Law School where he was note and comment editor of the Minnesota Journal of International Economic Law & Policy. He is admitted to the Bar in California, D.C. and Minnesota.
