Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher LLP is pleased to announce that employment partner Catherine Conway has joined the firm’s Los Angeles office. Previously at Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld, Conway will continue to focus on employment law, particularly wage and hour class actions.
“We are delighted to welcome Cathy to the firm,” said Ken Doran, Chairman and Managing Partner of Gibson Dunn. “With her considerable trial experience, Cathy will bring additional capacity to Gibson Dunn’s thriving employment practice, which was recognized this year as Employment Practice of the Year by The American Lawyer.”
“Cathy is highly regarded in the legal community,” said Chris Dusseault, Co-Partner in Charge of the Los Angeles office. “A seasoned trial lawyer, she will enhance our ability to handle large cases, especially wage and hour class actions, nationally and in California.”
“I am looking forward to working with my new colleagues,” said Conway. “Joining Gibson Dunn, which has one of the top employment practices in the country combined with the unparalleled quality and breadth of its broad litigation platform, was an opportunity that I couldn’t pass up.”
