Ted M. Handel has joined Haight Brown & Bonesteel’s Los Angeles office as a partner in the Business Solutions and Construction Law practice groups. He has more than twenty years of experience advising corporations, real estate developers, and nonprofit organizations. Prior to joining Haight, Handel was a partner at Koletsky, Mancini, Feldman & Morrow.

Handel represents real estate clients in all facets of commercial, mixed use, and multi-family projects, including acquiring and developing properties and closing construction and permanent financing, with both private and public loans. Handel’s corporate practice involves establishing all forms of business entities. In addition, he also advises charitable organizations in qualifying for tax-exempt status with the Internal Revenue Service and on corporate governance issues.

Handel serves on the Editorial Board of Los Angeles Lawyer and has authored several articles for the publication. He is a member of the State Bar of California’s Real Property and Business Law sections and the American Bar Association’s Affordable Housing Forum.
