Kaufman Dolowich Voluck & Gonzo LLP, a leading national law firm, today announced the addition of C. Edward Langhammer, Jr., as a partner in its Los Angeles office. Mr. Langhammer will be a member of the firm’s Labor & Employment Law Practice.
He was formerly a partner in the Los Angeles office of Burke Williams & Sorenson.
“Ed has more than 25 years of experience in litigating and counseling in every aspect of employment matters and has broad experience covering all the legal bases for employers, from pre-hiring to post-termination. Mr. Langhammer provides any employment-related service needed by small- to medium-sized businesses in a range of industries inside and outside California, including for-profit and non-profit entities and local government agencies.

A 1981 graduate of the University of Southern California Law School, Mr. Langhammer also earned his undergraduate degree, magna cum laude, from that institution in 1977. He is a member of the Professionals in Human Resources Association (PIHRA), has presented at its legal update conference, and has been among the sponsors of the South Bay Chapter. His other memberships include the Los Angeles County and Pasadena Bar Associations. He teaches numerous continuing education courses and seminars on employment topics, and presents frequently at legal and human resource conferences.
Mr. Langhammer has a Martindale-Hubbell AV Rating, and is admitted to the State Bar of California, the U.S. Claims Court, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit, the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California and the U.S. Tax Court.
