Michael Chamberlin has joined BakerHostetler’s Labor and Employment Group, where he will be resident in the firm’s Los Angeles office. He joins from Winston & Strawn LLP, where he was co-chair of its Los Angeles Labor and Employment practice.
Chamberlin regularly defends employers against claims involving unfair labor practice and labor contract violations, sexual harassment, various types of discrimination, whistleblowers, and confidential trade secret matters. He has experience representing employers in both individual and class action litigation alleging violations of California and federal wage and hour laws, and he has defended numerous arbitrations involving employee grievances and matters of collective bargaining agreement interpretation. Chamberlin regularly advises clients on employee and union relations matters, including contract administration, union organizing campaigns, contract negotiations and operating during labor disputes.

Chamberlin earned his B.A. from the University of California, Los Angeles, where he also earned his J.D. at its School of Law.
