Clark Hill today announced that Brian M. Hom has joined Clark Hill as a Member in the firm’s Litigation practice, resident in the Los Angeles office. He has represented clients from across the globe in disputes in federal and state courts, including appellate courts and the U.S. Supreme Court, as well as in arbitration and governmental investigations, with an emphasis in commercial litigation, securities, and antitrust. Hom’s joinder follows on the arrival last month of Sander Zagzebski as a Member in the firm’s Corporate Law practice in Los Angeles. Hom joins the firm from Morgan Lewis & Bockius LLP in Los Angeles.

Hom represents clients from diverse industries in complex commercial litigation. He handles business disputes involving breach of contract, securities, antitrust, unfair competition, product liability, intellectual property, and both civil and criminal government investigations.

Hom received his J.D. from the University of Southern California Law School where he was Senior Editor of the University of Southern California Interdisciplinary Law Journal and his B.S. magna cum laude from the University of Southern California. He served as a law clerk to Judge William D. Keller of the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California and as a law clerk to Chief Judge Alicemarie H. Stotler, also of the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California.
Hom has served on numerous committees for the State Bar of California, including the Committee on Group Insurance Programs, and serves on the Oversight Committee of CalBar Affinity, Inc. Hom is a contributing author to the American Bar Association Antitrust Section’s Antitrust Evidence Handbook and is a frequent speaker, including at events hosted by the State Bar of California and the California Lawyers Association.
Maintaining an active pro bono practice, Hom has represented indigent criminal defendants, tenants in unlawful detainer actions, and parents in adoption matters. He also represented veterans’ organizations in efforts to preserve veterans’ memorials in the Mojave Desert and in La Jolla, California.
Actively involved in the community, Hom served on the Board of Directors for the Boy Scouts of America, Long Beach Area Council for a number of years and earned the rank of Eagle Scout, the highest achievement in the Boy Scouts of America program.
