DLA Piper announced today that Daniel Robyn has joined the firm’s Tax practice as a partner based in both Los Angeles and Northern California offices. Robyn Joins from Baker McKenzie.
Robyn focuses his practice on the corporate implementation of global restructuring projects for public and private companies, including pre-acquisition planning, post-acquisition integrations, carve-outs and spin-off transactions; international expansion of companies; global corporate compliance; and general cross-border transactional advice.
“Daniel will add important depth to our multi-discipline, multi-jurisdictional corporate reorganization capabilities and work closely with our growing international tax team,” said Sang Kim, chair of the firm’s US Tax practice, co-chair of the global Tax practice and regional managing partner for Northern California. “His extensive experience in global restructuring projects will make him an invaluable contributor and enable us to provide even more value add end-to-end solutions to our clients.”
Robyn received his J.D. equivalent from the University of Cologne and his LL.M. from the University of Georgia. He is admitted to practice in Germany, as well as in California.
