DLA Piper is pleased to announce that its combination with Liner LLP, a Los Angeles-based boutique law firm, is now effective.
The merger was first announced in July 2017 and took effect October 1. The lawyers from Liner LLP focus in a range of important practices and sectors, including media and entertainment, litigation, real estate, business transactions, restructuring, new media and private equity.
The merger with Liner is the latest step in the evolution of DLA Piper’s presence in Los Angeles and on the West Coast, where the firm also recently announced the addition of Douglas Emhoff, a leading entertainment and IP litigator and the chief architect of Venable’s expansion in the region.
